Masten Gregory was an American race car driver who competed in Formula One, sports car racing, and NASCAR. He was born on February 29, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri. He began his racing career in the 1950s, and competed in Formula One from 1957 to 1965. He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965, and was the first American to win the race. He also competed in the Indianapolis 500, and won the 12 Hours of Sebring in 1964. Masten Gregory was known for his aggressive driving style, and was nicknamed "The Kansas City Flash". He was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2002. He died on October 8, 1985 in Kansas City, Missouri. Masten Gregory's net worth is estimated to be around $2 million.
